Chance Operations

In "Chance Operations," I juxtapose images and texts generated with artificial intelligence (AI). AI commonly utilizes diffusion models in the process of visualization. These models transfor

m the image, which they convert into data, into "noise" that corresponds to each pixel. Subsequently, this "noise" is transformed back into an image based on similarities. Throughout this process, the significance of similarity and the generative nature of infinite possibilities evoke the notion of randomly drawing numbers from a bingo bag, where each image represents a different outcome.

"Chance Operations" thus brings together partially random results generated by the algorithm in specific contexts. The first page of the book is accompanied by a text that establishes a connection between AI art and Dadaism.
