Twigs, strands of hair, tree bark, threads, and dried plants are arranged on photographs of human skin.

This work is based on Didier Anzieu's concept of the "Skin-Ego." According to Anzieu, skin serves as both a physical envelope and a psychic membrane—a boundary where the ego takes shape through contact, separation, and the sensation of being held.

The materials appear embedded into the skin, neither completely outside nor inside. This visual condition demonstrates how trauma or contact leaves its impression on the surface of the Skin-Ego.

The transparent covering provides minimal protection: it shelters the materials without concealing them. This reflects the effort of psychic defenses to hold without being able to fully protect.

Each composition is framed in a shallow wooden box. The box functions both as an actual container and reflects the early care environment described by Anzieu.

The word "nest" emphasizes the logic of providing a space where fragile life can rest until it becomes able to hold itself.
